At Play! we specialise in Drama Workshops and Musical Theatre. Please read our Terms of Trade carefully prior to booking any Holiday Workshop or Class with Play!
Words such as “We”, “Us”, “Our” mean Play! Drama Workshops
“You” means a parent, guardian, caregiver, or student
“Club” means ourany venue where students attend Events
“Event” means any Term Classes, Private Classes, Workshops, Shows or similar
Photographs and videos will be taken throughout the Club. These images will be used by Us, including but not limited to the following:
• PLAY! Drama Workshop printed publicly to promote our Drama Workshops and Musical Theatre Classes;
• Our online publicity (including social media platforms like Facebook);
• Shared with club members
• Video performances
If you do not consent to your child being photographed, and the photos used as described above, please let us know in writing prior to the commencement of the Event.1Unless specifically authorised We cannot allow You to take photographs or continuous videos of our Events at the Club.
Photography and Videography at Events outside the Club is permitted. Often this is outside of Our control, if You do not agree, the student should not participate.
All information, choreography, class routines and exercises, and Event content is to be regarded and treated as Our property. You agree to maintain and preserve full confidentiality of all information relating to our Events. We retain all intellectual property rights used or created in connection with our Term Classes, Holiday Workshops and Shows.
If your child is on any prescribed medication neither the tutor nor any member of the Club can be responsible for administering medication to the student. A parent and/or carer is welcome to come into the Club and give medication to the child.
If your child brings medication with them to self-administer they must notify Nickie it must be kept safely away from the other students.
Please note on this form if your child suffers from any allergies or illnesses, any medication needed and the dosage.
Nickie is a trained First Aider and a medical kit will be available to her at the Club. You consent to the application of basic first aid treatment, such as the application of band-aids. Should your child need any first aid treatment, you will be notified at the end of the Event.
We are grateful for your prompt payments. Our fee structure is as follows:
Term Fees
Invoices for the term will be issued in advance and payment details will be included on the invoices. The full amount is typically due within 14 days of the date of the invoice. The balance term fees can be paid on a fortnightly/monthly instalment plan. If required, please email nickie@playdramaworkshops.com to discuss this. We do not accept cash payments.
If a payment is overdue, a 10% late payment fee will be added, and your invoice will be reissued.
Should you wish to discontinue the enrolment of your child in classes, it is imperative that you inform us prior to the due date of your subsequent invoice. Failure to notify us before the issuance of your new invoice will result in incurring a $5.00 administration fee upon cancellation of your space with us.
Holiday Workshops
Invoices for Holiday Workshops will be issued in advance. Your deposit must be paid by online bank transfer within 7 WORKING DAYS of the date of the invoice. If you have reserved a space and your child is no longer able to attend the workshop please email info@playdramaworkshops.com before your deposit is due to cancel. If you do not cancel before your deposit is due, We will assume that your child is able to attend the Holiday Workshop. The deposit is non-refundable.
Full payment should be paid via online bank transfer on or before the first day of the Holiday Workshop. You can make payment in full straight away if preferred. We do not accept cash payments.
Please note, in all cases, that if a payment is overdue, a 10% late payment fee will be added, and your invoice will be reissued.
If a Holiday Workshop is cancelled by the Us, You will receive a full refund for the cancelled Holiday Workshop.
Where term or private classes are cancelled due to emergency or unforeseen circumstances, parents will be notified as soon as possible. We will endeavour to offer substitute classes on specific days during the term, usually Friday afternoons. If these classes do not suit, a credit or full refund is available.
We offer professional, fun, and educational Term Classes, Private Classes and Holiday Workshops. If you are dissatisfied with the standard of what we provide, please contact Nickie so that We can work with You to resolve any issues. You agree not to slander Play! in any public forum.
You acknowledge that our Classes, Workshops and Shows are live and interactive. We shall in no way be liable for any damage to property or injury or death to any persons caused or in any way contributed by the Events. You agree to indemnify Us from and against any and all actual loss, consequential loss, or damage suffered by you or any third party.
Our Terms of Trade constitute an Agreement between You and Us. This Agreement is made in accordance with the laws of New Zealand.
This Agreement constitutes the entire Agreement between the You and Us, it supersedes any prior agreement between the parties whether written or oral. We may update our Terms of Trade at any time without having to provide specific notice to You.
