Holiday Workshops
For students with busy terms
- join us in the school holidays!
Our terms focus around two different structures: Technique terms, and performance terms! With guidance from their tutor, students will work through ideas inspired by a theme and spend each week rehearsing or learning new techniques. The aim for performance workshops is to introduce the children to performing and creating ideas for performance. At the end of term children will have the opportunity to perform for family members and friends.
These “showcases” are club specific, but the children also get opportunities to perform with our other Drama groups throughout the academic year too; offering a nice balance between working and performing on a small and large scale!

Play in 3 Days!
Play in 3 Days!’ is a chance for your children to explore their creative sides through the medium of devised drama. Devised theatre is usually a performance that is invented by its actors and is completely original.
As well as learning to develop ideas in a team, your child will also work on their confidence skills as they learn the ins and outs of working in a theatre environment and how to portray characters on stage!
Fun-filled drama activities for kids aged 5-8
Rehearsal days run from 10am to 2pm
Performance day runs from 10am - 1:30pm, with performance at 1:30pm
Play in 4 Days!
‘Play in 4 Days!’ is a chance for older students to explore their creative sides through the medium of devised drama. Devised theatre is usually a performance that is invented by its actors and is completely original.
As well as learning to develop ideas in a team, your child will also work on their confidence skills as they learn the ins and outs of working in a theatre environment and how to portray characters on stage!

Rehearsal days run from 10am to 3pm
Performance day runs from 11am - 4:30pm, with performance at 4:30pm
Drama Camp
This week-long experience promises a blend of creativity, learning, and theatrical magic for participants of all levels of interest in drama. From insightful workshops and behind-the-scenes theater tours to hands-on sessions in headdress design, sound effects for radio plays, and musical theater choreography, the camp offers a diverse range of activities.
Led by industry professionals, the camp also includes a captivating tour of the Court Theatre, exclusive Drama Camp merchandise, and professional headshot photography sessions to capture your dramatic essence. It's a week filled with artistic development, professional insights, and memorable experiences in the world of theater.
PLAY! DANCE! SING!
PLAY and Aurora Dance Studio collaborate annually to produce an awesome Musical Theatre intensive: PLAY DANCE SING! This 3-day holiday workshop is a chance for your children to put in hard work and produce a full scale Musical Number 3 days!
During each day students will learn acting and vocal technique with Nickie (PLAY) and Shannon (Aurora Dance) will teach you all you need to know about the choreography for the song!
As well as learning to develop ideas in a team, your child will also work on their confidence skills as they learn the ins and outs of working in a theatre environment and how to portray characters on stage! At the end of the workshop parents, friends and family are invited to come and watch all of our hard work! It’s a fun and crazy week for ages 8-13!
